The Wilberforce Scholarship
The Wilberforce School is proud to announce a merit-based scholarship, to be given to an outstanding new*
Middle School student (Classes Seven and Eight**). The scholarship covers 90%
of tuition for the first year. Wilberforce Scholars who maintain a GPA of 3.5 and exemplary
conduct will have the scholarship renewed each year until graduation
from eighth grade. This
is a merit-based, competitive scholarship.
Applicants for the scholarship should complete the standard application process, filling out both the Wilberforce
Scholarship Application and the Middle School Admissions Application. Finalists will be called in for interviews by the scholarship committee. Applications for the 2011-2012 school year are due by March 1, 2012.
If you have questions, please email our Admissions Office.
*Please note: The donors who fund this scholarship have stipulated that it is to be
given to new applicants only and that currently enrolled students are
not eligible for the scholarship. Their intent is that this scholarship
will expand the number of outstanding scholars at the school.
**Due to limited space in Class Six, The Wilberforce Scholarship is only offered to students in Classes Seven-Eight.
