Most colleges require two teacher recommendations as a part of the application. We strongly encourage students to request recommendations from teachers before the end of Junior year. This allows teachers to write recommendations over the summer. If a teacher agrees to write a recommendation, please complete the Teacher Recommendation Questionnaire and Deadlines Form and return it to the teacher. For more information on the recommendation process, see page 12 of the College Guidance Handbook.

A list of schools that offer test optional or test flexible requirements for admission. For more information on test optional colleges, visit www.fairtest.org.

Beginning in Junior Year, students are given access to GuidedPath, a website designed to help students research colleges and manage the application process.

Students are responsible for updating GuidedPath in order to inform the guidance counselor of their progress as build their college interest list and begin applications.
Parents are also given an account through GuidedPath to see their student’s activity. Parents are responsible for filling out the Parent Questionnaire located in the Surveys section.
