Trinity Partnership

About Trinity Schools

When we, the Wilberforce leaders, experienced Trinity’s approach, we recognized Trinity's remarkable appeal and its ability to offer a logical conclusion to the JK-8 Wilberforce training. Keeping a close partnership with Trinity, we have licensed its curriculum to Wilberforce and have received guidance and training for our teachers and our leadership as we align with their distinctive approach.

Trinity Schools grew out of years of discussions among a group of educators (primarily college teachers and scientific researchers by calling) in South Bend, Indiana. They were deep Christians, with considerable experience in academia (particularly philosophy, great books, theology, math, physics, and engineering) who had come to their own views about the intellectual life, its place in Christian life, and how to train students in that life. Discussion produced collaboration, and this collaboration, in turn, led to the 1981 founding of the first Trinity School in South Bend. Over the years two more schools were added: one in Minneapolis, Minnesota, another in Falls Church, Virginia.
