MS Boys Lacrosse
All middle school students may participate. Boys and girls practice and compete separately. Teams compete against area schools. The goal of the program is to develop skills for players of all levels. Beginners are needed and are encouraged to play. Boys are required to provide their own pads, and all students need to provide their own equipment.
Season: March 4 - May 26
Practice: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 3:15 - 4:45pm
Coach Ed MacQueen
Ed MacQueen captained football and basketball teams in high school (West Windsor Plainsboro South) and played football at Johns Hopkins University. He also has experience playing lacrosse, soccer, track & field, and wrestling. He still enjoys playing basketball and beating his sons in arm wrestling. Best sports moments/accomplishments:
- Centennial Conference Champions, JHU Football (2002)
- Ending Hunterdon Central’s 24 game winning streak at home, on homecoming (1999)
- Being described as the “hardest working player of my career” by WW-P football coach Tom Stuart (1980-2002)
- Playing youth soccer games in November, in the rain, when it used to be cold in November
Ed’s goals for his players are to 1) glorify God and grow together as brothers in Christ, 2) work our hardest in practice and games, and 3) win, win, win.
