Highlights:
Caleb Brox wins double gold with thrilling finishes to become Mercer County Champion in the 1600 and 800!! The girls' 4x800 of Laura Sallade, Eve Szeliga, Stella Blanchard, and Gwen Mersereau also won a thriller to claim their 3rd consecutive 4x800 championship.
In addition to her 4x800 win, Laura placed 2nd in the 800 M and medaled in 5th in the 1600m. Gwen placed 4th in the 800 m and Eve placed 3rd in the 400m.
Laura's 1600 m time (and huge PR) of 5:11.30 and Caleb's 1600 time of 4:24.91 achieved elite status by meeting the MileSplit US Second Team standard!
The Girls team placed 7th out of 18 teams and the Boys were 11th out of 19, an impressive rank among the top prep and public schools of all sizes! There were many other Personal Records and Season Records.
Way to go Wolverines!
