Congratulations on an amazing finish to an exceptional year of tournament victories for Wilberforce! We are proud of how each and every one of our students fought the good fight against some very stiff competition to bring home the win. Throughout the day our students carried themselves with great professionalism and poise. Well done!
Besides coming in first for overall wins and tying for first for percentage of wins, there were several individual and team victories:
Evaline finished her middle school debate career the same way she began it, by WINNING THE GOLDEN GAVEL!!
In addition, the team of Evaline, Donald, and Anna took FIRST PLACE!
TEAM T3: Stella, Nathaniel, and Josiah Tobey won SECOND PLACE, along with Nina, Khrystyna, and Valeria!
Davina, Gemma, and Joyce took FIFTH PLACE!
In addition to her 2nd place team award, Stella T. also took the 5th Place speaker award.
Lisa Kwafo took home the Wilberforce school speaker award.
Thank you so much to all the parents for your support, to all our volunteer judges, and to the case captains who put in many hours of research and writing each month. A very, very special thank you to our OUTSTANDING assistant coaches Joshua, Katherine, David, and Maria. Our success as a team is in no small part due to their leadership. We are very grateful to them!
And of course, above all, we thank our Heavenly Father for the gifts He has so generously bestowed. May our speech always glorify Him. Deo Gratias!
