Wilberforce’s Jeremy Sallade was the driving force behind the team’s third-place Non-Public B finish. Sallade also won the Neshaminy Open, was second at the XC Fall Classic and the Bob Kiessling Invitational, third at the Mercer County Championships and he competed at the M of C’s, finishing 93rd.

Coach of the Year

Lois Szeliga has led the charge for Wilberforce since starting the program back in 2018, leading the teamm to its first state title a season ago.

Szeliga, who coaches both the girls and boys teams, came back once again this year and led her girls squad to back-to-back Non-Public B titles, beating out a Top 20 team in Villa Walsh. In addition, the girls captured the Mercer County title and finished 11th at the Meet of Champions. Two of her own, Sophia Park and Adeline Edwards, made All-Non Public B First Team as well.

On the boys’ side, Szeliga coached the team to a third-place finish in Non-Public B, with Jereny Sallade capturing the individual state title. Sallade, along with Caleb Brox, also made All-Non Public B First Team.
