THE HOUSE SYSTEM

Houses allow for deeper connections and friendships to be forged.

Each house serves as a family of students within the broader school community. The purpose of the house community is to build a culture of leadership, service, mentorship, and joy and to strengthen relationships across all middle and upper school grades.

With a deliberately faculty-led culture, much is “caught rather than taught.” Our faculty consider teaching at Wilberforce a calling and are committed discipling and nurturing a genuine faith in their students. are all addressed through a biblical worldview. Students internalize faith through witnessing the lives of their teachers. Discipline, peer relationships, competition, and even classroom excellence.

WOLVERINE ATHLETICS

Strength and Courage

Wilberforce athletics is in step with our holistic approach to educating our students. We seek to emulate the character of Christ in both practice and competition, running the race well, and finishing strong. We desire to prepare students for the path, not prepare the path for the student. Our Christian worldview is the foundation of these character building principles. Our coaches seek to equip our students to embody these principles in victory and defeat.
