Important Action Items for January/February
Please see below for more details on these events.

Storyglory Book Fair
Each year The Wilberforce School partners with a local nonprofit, Storyglory Kids, to offer families wholesome, edifying books that pique students’ interest and encourage reading at all age levels, including adults. Our school works with Storyglory to carefully curate titles each year – this year we are expecting more than 1,200 books!
Whether you are new to the book fair or a returning participant, we ask that you review this FAQ to familiarize yourself with the processes, payment options, shopping opportunities, and the class visitation schedule (E1-G12).
The book fair would not be possible without the efforts of numerous volunteers who help us transform the MPR into an Outdoor Adventures scene – and back again. Whether you would like to help set up the fair, assist shoppers, or support the packing and teardown efforts, we invite you to serve your family’s volunteer hours at the book fair. A spreadsheet outlining available opportunities, descriptions of services needed, and classroom visitation times can be found HERE. Light snacks and beverages will be provided during service hours.
Books, whether purchased online or in our on-campus store, will be sold for 10 percent off the listed price. When you, your friends, and your family members shop at our fair, the Wilberforce PTF will receive 10 percent of the sales. We know that you have the ability to purchase books anywhere, so we are grateful when you choose to shop our sale. In doing so, you help support the PTF’s welcome events, special meals, community engagement opportunities, educational events, and gifts of appreciation and support throughout the year.
If you have any questions about the book fair, please e-mail ptf@wilbeforceschool.org.

I love the community here. It has been unbeatable for our family, for our child, and for me. It's like a family. It's not by accident; it's because of the school mission: to bring families and students together.Upper School Parent |
