Health Guidelines |
Students are expected to come to school healthy, well-rested, and ready for class. Students who exhibit any of the following symptoms during the school day will be sent home: lethargic, unable to do schoolwork, vomiting, fever, diarrhea, contagious virus, severe cold. They should not return to school until they are symptom-free and without a fever (without the aid of medication) for at least 24 hours and after one full school day at home. For example, if a student is sent home at 10am on Monday, he/she should not attend school on Tuesday. This guidance is subject to change, and any changes will be communicated to families. Siblings, if not symptomatic, may attend school.
If your child tests positive for COVID: Follow the same guidelines as listed above. There are no additional requirements. Parents should use the guidelines above to determine whether a student should stay at home and when to return to school. For questions that cannot be addressed by these guidelines, reach out to health@wilberforceschool.org. For assistance with Magnus Health, reach out to jee.park@wilberforceschool.org.
